Are you an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager with the ability to manage dynamic personalities, create and improve processes and are looking for your next career challenge?


This leading pharmaceutical services company is looking to fill the newly created position of Warehouse Operations Manager based in Elstree.

Reporting to the Director you will be responsible for all operational warehouse management of centralised suppliesto the network of UK laboratories, hospital wards, general _practice surgeries (NHS and private), and private healthcare clients.

  • Your skills _
  • You should be adept at managing a team as you will directly manage the team of 2 Team Leaders, 8 warehouse operatives, 7 supply distribution drivers' and 4 production staff ensuring a robust service is provided.
  • Experienced at creating and improve processes to increase operational efficiencies, monitor departmental KPIs and ensure targets are met or remedial actions are put in place if set KPIs are not adhered to.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership with regards to quality investigation, supporting effective CAPA delivery and incident management.
  • Skilled at ensuring warehouse stock is ordered on a timely manner and receipted within the required lead times to provide a service.
  • Mindful that all staff are trained and competent to carry out their roles and documenting this as per HR and Quality guidelines.
  • Diligent in ensuring the warehouse is compliant to H&S standards.
  • Required experience_
  • More than 5 years' experience managing a warehouse
  • Experience in best stock management practice
  • Warehouse Personnel Management
  • Facilities management experience
  • Forklift licence (current or renewable)


This role requires a conscientious character with good initiative as you will be contributing to a robustness of service that will ultimately improve patient pathways and reduce facility downtime.

This is a permanent role working 9 am pm Mon - Fri paying £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience and offers an opportunity to work in a supportive, professional environment with a small friendly team.
