About The Role:

Are you an experienced building or property surveyor because we are looking to fill two Senior Property Surveyor vacancies?

Our Senior Property Surveyor (Responsive Maintenance) will lead our responsive maintenance surveying team undertaking, amongst other things, dilapidation/disrepair surveys, provide repair maintenance advice and the diagnosis of complex building defects to Council homes and leaseholder properties.

The Senior Property Surveyor (Planned Maintenance) role will lead a small team of surveyors to deliver planned maintenance programmes and improvement works to Council Homes and leasehold properties taking works from feasibility and investigation, right through to delivery.

About You:

It is important that you have an extensive building construction, building maintenance or project management background with at least 10 years' experience in this sector backed up with qualifications to Degree or HND level in Construction, Surveying or Building Management.

It would also be preferable if you held a professional qualification/accreditation such as RICS or ICE and it would be great if had some experience of managing or mentoring staff.

As well as having a detailed knowledge of building trades, contract management, procurement and health and safety you will be have a customer orientated approach with good communication skills and the ability to work with tact and diplomacy.
