    Description

    Facilities Engineer

    Location: Coventry / Castle Brom
    Contract: Inside IR35
    18-month initial contract

    Key Performance Indicators of the Facilities Engineer:

    • Enhance cycle time through new facility enhancements and optimization.
    • Meet facility demands to support increased premium paint volume while considering Cost, Quality, and Time.
    • Implement new technology for sustainability goals.
    • Contribute to the future manufacturing strategy.
    • Utilize facility data processing for digitalization.
    • Ensure facility design and implementation comply with UK laws for internal and external audits.

    Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities of the Facilities Engineer:

    • Evaluate new facilities and processes feasibility, manage projects considering cost, quality, and timing.
    • Provide necessary capability and capacity at manufacturing facilities as per launch plans and production needs.
    • Conduct feasibility and cost assessments for new facilities or processes implementations with minimal disruption to operations.
    • Provide engineering solutions suitable for facility capabilities and process characteristics.
    • Create efficient layout solutions for facility project delivery and operational improvements.
    • Maintain and improve Health, Safety, and Risk Management processes.
    • Contribute to Environmental Innovation and Reporting compliance.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience of the Facilities Engineer:

    Essential:

    • Strong engineering and manufacturing background with expertise in Facilities Development.
    • Understanding of facilities processes, equipment, and modern technologies.
    • Reliability and maintainability principles knowledge with awareness of environmental impacts.
    • Degree qualified or equivalent experience.

    Desirable:

    • Experience in operational and strategic Facilities Management across engineering sites and buildings.
    • Knowledge of paint technologies and paint shop systems.
    • Skills in contract and performance management.
