- Administer medication safely to patients, including IV and cytotoxic drugs using evidence based guidelines.
- Undertake evidence based care for a variety of indwelling central venous catheters.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and relevant data collection.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors and all members of the multi professional team
- Participate in patient/carer education advice about patient's condition/needs, health promotion in particular in relation to endocrine conditions.
- To safely use clinical equipment relevant to own work area.
- Order investigations and blood tests within scope of practice.
- Undertake venepuncture and cannulation plus any specialist clinical skills such as venesection which are required by the area

Two exciting opportunities have arisen for Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and well-motivated registered nurse with a strong commitment to nursing patients on our Grundisburgh Ward in Care of the Elderly.
Hours Per Week - Fixed Term/Secondment Until September 2024

You will be a key member of the ward nursing team to ensure high quality care is delivered. You will be part of a multi-professional team.
You will be required to work across the Trust to help facilitate patient flow and achieve the standards set within the National Clinical guidelines.
You will need to have:
