    Description

    Role Requirements & Responsibilities

    • Proven experience of trading IG credit across DM (core requirement)
    • Experience in trading Rates is considered a big plus
    • If no prior experience in trading rates, there is the expectation to learn how to trade rates within 6-12 months
    • The mandate will revolve around portfolio rebalancing, buying and selling bonds in different currencies, looking at benchmarks vs bonds, hedging currency risk, execution etc
    • Knowledge of insurance regulatory frameworks (Solvency II etc.) is highly preferred
    • Strong technical knowledge of the USD/DM Credit Market is a core requirement
    • Experience around execution within credit/rates (CDS CLN's. swaps, cross-currency swaps, inflation swaps etc)
    • Being able to adapt quickly to support PMs on projects/tasks
    • Being able to quickly learn rates trading within 6-12 months (if have limited trading experience here – there will be internal support in the firm to accommodate your learning)
    • Any coding experience in Python is a big plus
