JOB SUMMARY

To be in charge of the strategic commissioning of services that deliver on the goals and outcomes for culture, heritage, and tourism.

To serve as the project manager for new, innovative, and creative cultural, historic, and tourist initiatives that support the aims and outcomes.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

Manage the day-to-day delivery and process of a service for events, culture, heritage, and tourism.
Develop and implement a wide range of creative events, cultural, heritage, and tourist activities, projects, and events on a local and big scale, as well as aid in the creation of initiatives to meet the priorities.
Lead policy development in the areas of events, culture, heritage, and tourism through consultation, stakeholder involvement, need analysis, implementation, and evaluation.
Lead work with providers, with a focus on growing the DMO and Heritage Trust and aiding them in the creation, administration, and execution of a comprehensive strategy framework for tourism and heritage development.
Maintain partnerships with Heritage Trust to ensure the assets of the Trust are protected, promoted, and sustained.
