    CP Distributors has a current opening for an ambitious Service and Installation Technician, Commercial Doors in our Surrey branch.

    The position is temporary, full-time, and project based, with the possibility of becoming permanent and, for a highly motivated professional, has tremendous growth opportunities.

    In this newly created position for the duration of the St.

    Paul's project, the Service and Installation Technician plays a key role by ensuring the product is installed and/or serviced on time, within budget, and in conformance with functional and quality expectations.

    As a Service and Installation Technician, Commercial Doors, you will be responsible to:
    Install, service, and repair Division 8 products (doors, frames, hardware) and Division 10 products (specialties);
    Provide exceptional customer service;
    Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the safety requirements of the job site and ensure protocols are properly followed;
    Work collaboratively as a part of the branch service and installation team.


    Your Experience:
    Ideally, you bring 2+ years of experience with service and installation of commercial doors;
    Must possess valid driver's license without restrictions;
    Familiarity with Division 8, 10, and 28 is considered an asset;
    Experience with low voltage wiring is considered an asset.


    Your Skills:
    Customer-service oriented;
    Detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills;
    Strong time management skills to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment;
    Effective communication skills;
    Demonstrated accountability and dependability;
    Ability to collaborate with colleagues across our company, maintaining our close-knit, team-orientated culture;
    Ability to lift 50lbs.
