    The Wholesale & International (W&I) domain is one of the five domains within the IT Systems organisation.

    The W&I domain within IT Systems supports the client and products (Financial Markets and Corporate Banking) systems for the wholesale bank across the globe.

    W&I is characterized by the complexity and fragmentation of the current IT landscape.

    W&I is responsible for more than 50 (critical) wholesale banking applications of which the majority has a high availability requirement, which are being serviced by 350 IT professionals.

    In case of service disruptions this will have an immediate effect on the reputation of and the financial risk for Rabobank.

    The candidate will mainly be responsible supporting activities related to the Reconciliations systems we manage inside the domain.
    Besides the regular support activities, you implement change requests based on broad knowledge of ITIL processes.
    As Operations Engineer you are an active member of the DevOps team working closely with other disciplines/roles.

    You are a T-shaped professional and able to combine one or more technical specialties with ability to take over basic activities of other specialists in a team (analysis, development and testing).

    You have general knowledge of software development cycle and knowledge about the business domain for which you work for. Being flexible and taking ownership forms the mind-set that is necessary for this function.

    The candidate will be mainly responsible for supporting activities related to the Regulatory Reporting system and a system for Client Registration and On Boarding.

    The team consists of around 22 people (Business Analysis, Software Engineering and Operations Support). 4+ years of Microsoft servers (Windows 2012);
    Proven knowledge of/experience with MS SQL Server (SQL2012 onwards), knows scripting in SQL;
    Able and willing to work in shifts (not 9-5 mentality);

    Technology:
    TFS, RDBMS (SQL Server), XML, LINQ, Entity Framework;
    Fluent English; good communication preferred in Dutch as well
    having a hands-on attitude / acting pro-actively / having an analytical mind / stakeholder influencing skills / acting open and transparent, but with quality and continuity in mind / being result and solution driven with large focus on details / team working an able to remain positive under pressure of (regulatory) delivery deadlines / having a methodical approach to work;
    Several years of experience in working in an Agile/Scrum/DevOps team;
    Experience in the financial sector and knowledge of Financial Markets products
    Experience with first/second line support
    Education HBO/WO (NL) or University degree (UK), preferably in Science or Engineering
