What you'll be doing?

You will be working as part of our wider Sales & Marketing team as our 'person on the ground' and is the only role of this nature across our portfolio. It makes it a really exciting opportunity for someone to join us, to help shape the role and ultimately drive sales.

We're fortunate to have delivered exceptional revenues in the last few years and now is a great time to refocus and look at new ways to drive the business forward.

This is a truly special role, taking the very best of the 'traditional' and marketing roles. Your focus will be on proactive local networking and relationship building, as well as developing and driving a marketing strategy which reflects the diverse offering of the hotel and its activities – focusing on both local and national market presence to ultimately drive sales.

You will need to be highly collaborative, passionate to learn and able to inject new ideas to create and launch multi touch point campaigns that spark interest. Ultimately the purpose of the role is to drive pipeline acceleration through the creation of relevant and interesting content and beautifully executed marketing programmes.

This is not the role for someone who is 'desk happy' or who thrives on hard sales targets but instead someone who will get amongst the hotel team...talking to them and finding interesting stories to bring to life. The role is an approx. split of 25% sales focus, 75% marketing.

What you'll need

Most be a 'fresh thinker', highly creative with a passion for the hospitality industry gained in a similar role; along with ability to bring new ideas to the table; (Sounds easy, right?)
As important, is your ability to work with and through people; having the ability to influence diverse cross-functional teams often under pressure.
A comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape
Demonstrable experience of helping to bring marketing strategies to life via best-in-class campaigns, being responsible for execution, engagement and measurement.
A quick self-learner, with a pro-active calculated 'give it a go' attitude; equally someone who is resilient and recovers well when met with challenges;

Whilst you'll need to be creative in your approach and idea's, technically you will have the wider support of our design team.
