- Reporting into the Head of Manufacturing, initially there will be 2 x Team Leaders reporting into the Production Manager but this will likely grow
- There will be approximately 20 Production Operators.
- Responsible from production teams across a 3 shift pattern.
- Help set up the plant / factory , oversee and have some input and awareness of the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
- Help build the team and culture.
- Assist with training and mentoring instilling a safety culture and a professional, supportive, collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Min 3 years in a production manager / supervisor role within an FMCG or similar manufacturing environment eg materials manufacturing, packaging, etc
- Good understanding of LEAN, 5s, Kaizen, Short Interval Control (SIC) would be an advantage
- Engaging leadership and good communication and collaboration skills important.
- Coaching and mentoring style, understand people, machinery, quality, HSE.
