An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Clinical Leader to manage the day to day management of the discharge lounge team across UHD and to lead in the service development, re-launch and future vision of the Discharge Lounge.

Whilst being the key person to collaborate with wider teams to support the patient flow in UHD.

The Discharge Lounge operates Monday-Friday 8am-8pm based at both Bournemouth and Poole sites.

Our aim is to provide a comfortable and safe environment for our patients transferring from hospital to home and to support timely flow and bed availability in UHD.

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate leadership skills, experience and clinical nursing skills and be flexible to a developing service, have an innovative approach to service development to meet the needs of the patients and service.

Applicants should meet the essential requirements and have experience in discharge planning and working as part of a MDT.

You should be able to demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills, to support and enable the nursing and wider multidisciplinary team to provide excellent standards of safe, effective and compassionate care.
