Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby's) and Gourmet Kitchen is our state-of-the-art facilities located in Hull, are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and highly motivated HR professional, to join our Human Resources Team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and elevate their HR experience and skillset.

Key Role & Accountabilities:

· Dealing with all ER queries such as investigation, discipline, grievance, flexible working, etc. and advise, coach and support stakeholders against current legislation

· Ensure effective co-ordination of ER cases, including the preparation of case documentation, ensuring procedural timescales and a consistent approach are adhered to

· Manage performance, absence and AWOL's

· Take full ownership of ill health capability and long term sick procedures within the sites

· Participate in recruitment campaigns

· Manage HR projects assigned by the HR Manager in line with company and departmental objectives

· Participate in the creation and engagement of projects at sites

· Support with implementation and reviewing new HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation and coach line managers to ensure that these are embedded across the sites

· Support HR Assistants with processes and data flow

Experience / Knowledge:

· Have a minimum of 2 years HR Advisor experience within manufacturing, desirable but not essential

· Have comprehensive knowledge of employment law

· Hold their CIPD Level 5 qualification, or studying towards

· Have a high level of communication skills (both written & verbal) with the ability to communicate with people at all levels

· Have a dynamic and flexible approach, as well as the ability to work under pressure

· Have meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritise own workload
