    If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to expand your skills and knowledge into complex clinical care or if you already have complex care experience, this could be the perfect job role for you

    We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one and two to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

    Meet our service user

    Our service user is a happy young boy who lives with his family in York. He requires support throughout the day on a 2:1 basis and throughout the night on a 1:1 basis.

    He loves being outside, sensory toys and having rough and tumble play. We are looking for candidates who have a passion to work with children and who can support in helping our service user have as much fun as possible.

    Throughout the day, your role will include assisting with mobility, supporting with his personal care, and attending to his clinical care needs when required. You will ensure his safety and well-being, and assist him to enjoying his hobbies, and interests, along with various social activities.

    Throughout the night you will support with personal care, moving and handling, making clinical observations and attending to his clinical care needs when required. You will provide a peaceful environment to promote a peaceful environment.

    We are looking for candidates who are comfortable around dogs as there is a dog within the property

    Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

    Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Valid Driver's Licence

    • Shifts Available

  • Full Time & Part Time
  • Days & Nights
  • Days: 7:30am – 7:30pm & 3:30pm – 9pm
  • Nights: 8pm – 8am & 9pm – 8am

    Weekdays- £15.00 per hour (Approx. £180 per 12 hour-shift)

    Weeknights- £15.50 per hour (Approx. £186 per 12 hour shift)

    Saturday & Sunday- £16.00 per hour (Approx. £192 per 12 hour shift)

    Bank Holidays- £20.00 per hour (Approx. £240 per 12 hour shift)

    This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service user and their family.
