MTrec's New Career Opportunity;
MTrec are proudly representing our market leading manufacturing client, who have a long and proud heritage in the region. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Machine Operator who is looking for an exciting new career move. If you have a strongbackground in manufacturing, then this could be the position you have been looking for in the New Year


The Job You'll Do;

  • Work on our CNC machines.
  • Load the machine with wooden boards using a lift.
  • Secure the material to the bed of the machine and set it to cut.
  • Once cut, unload cut pieces onto a trolley for the next phase of manufacturing and dispose of the waste offcuts of wood.
  • Full training will be given.
  • Shifts are on a day shift and a backshift rotating pattern.
  • You will work incredibly close with others in your department to carry out daily tasks and an element of flexibility to work overtime and change shifts will be expected.

About You;

  • Essential to have knowledge and experience of operating a CNC machine (can be basic operations)
  • Desirable to have worked in a wood work manufacturing environment previously
  • Dexterous/ handy
  • Keen to carry out housekeeping duties within their work area
  • Good communication and administration skills
  • Physically fit due to the nature of the role you will carry out manual handling duties on a daily basis
  • Willing to do overtime during peak manufacturing (November

  • A flexible cando attitude to work.
  • Happy to work days and backs rotating shift pattern.
