    Software QA Tester – Remote HermitQA is scouring Canada for dedicated, positive, versatile and team-oriented individuals to join our remote squad of software testing professionals. QA Testers will: - Ensure software products and applications align with the clients' vision; - Write up and report software bugs/issues clearly and concisely - Design, write and implement test plans; - Actively communicate within the engineering and QA team to meet client needs; - Have an active say in the growth and direction of a quickly expanding, Canadian-owned tech company; Qualifications: - Minimum 4 years work experience in the Software testing; - Experience with the Atlassian suite, or Azure DevOps - Understanding of version control software and principles ie: Git - Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English a must (our clients are mostly english speaking Americans); - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; - Ability to work under pressure, to accept directions, and to handle multiple tasks; - Work well in cooperation with other members of a team; - Eager to learn and take on new responsibility over time; - Must have access to a suitable home office or equivalent day-to-day work environment; Assets: - French language skills (written + verbal) a priority asset - Experience with performance testing tools(ie: DataDog, LoadRunner, JMeter) is a priority asset - Experience with programming/scripting languages such as SQL or Python - College or University degree in Computer Science - Experience with load, API or automation testing - Experience with tools such as Postman, Charles or Fiddler - Ability/desire to adapt to a Central or Mountain Time-zone oriented schedule a big plus Additional Information: - Work from home, - 40h/week, Monday-Friday - Employer funded skill training - Robust raise and bonus structure for quick learners Description du poste Testeur Assurance Qualité logiciel – Télétravail HermitQA parcourt le Canada à la recherche de personnes dévouées, positives, polyvalentes et dotées d'un bon esprit d'équipe pour se joindre à notre groupe de professionnels des tests logiciels. Les testeurs AQ devront : - S'assurer que les produits et les applications logiciels correspondent à la vision du client - Rédiger et signaler les bogues et les problèmes logiciels avec clarté et concision - Concevoir, rédiger et mettre en œuvre des scénarios d'essai - Communiquer activement au sein de l'équipe d'ingénierie et d'assurance qualité pour répondre aux besoins de nos clients - Participer activement à la croissance et à l'orientation d'une société de technologie canadienne grandissante Qualifications : - Au moins 4 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans le domaine des tests logiciels - Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et verbale en anglais indispensables(nos clients sont principalement des Américains anglophones)- Excellentes facultés d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes - Capacité à travailler sous pression, à accepter les directives et à gérer des tâches multiples - Travailler en coopération avec les autres membres d'équipe - Avoir envie d'apprendre et d'assumer de nouvelles responsabilités au fil du temps - Doit avoir accès à un bureau à domicile ou à un environnement de travail quotidien convenable. Atouts : - La maîtrise du français (écrit + oral) constitue un avantage MAJEUR - Expérience des outils de test de performance, à savoir : DataDog, LoadRunner, JMeter etc. - Expérience des langages de programmation/script tels que SQL ou Python - Expérience avec la suite Atlassian ou Azure DevOps - Diplôme collégial ou universitaire en informatique - Compréhension du logiciel de contrôle de version ou des principes c.-à-d.
