**Senior Education Adviser, Behaviour Hubs


Salary:
Circa £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Reading with some flexibility for hybrid or remote working. Some travel to various locations throughout England.**:

We are recruiting for a Senior Education Adviser to provide technical expertise to the Department for Education's Behaviour Hubs programme and oversee school coaching, quality assurance, programme improvement and the promotion of the programme across variousstakeholder groups.

The role will effectively work across internal and external stakeholder groups to ensure the successful delivery of the programme.

The programme partners schools with a Lead School who has an exemplary track record in behaviour culture to provide senior leaders with bespoke support.

There is also a stream for MATs who will be partnered in a similar way with a Lead MAT. The programme willrun until December 2024.
To join the team, you will be a qualified teacher and have experience working on large scale national initiatives.

You will have excellent credentials in the design, delivery and evaluation/quality assurance of professional and/or whole school improvement programmesfor teachers and school leaders.

You will also have strong stakeholder management skills and experience coaching school leaders.
We are particularly interested in the following areas of expertise:
Awareness of different approaches to behaviour and associated current research
Very strong stakeholder management
Line management and matrix management
Coaching and supporting school leaders
Developing CPD materials
Experience working on large scale national initiatives

The majority of our work will be supporting the effective delivery of the programme, so you will have the credibility, humility, coaching and communication skills to support experienced school leaders in a wide range of contexts.

You will be joining a broadereducation team who work across a range of programmes supporting teachers and practitioners to improve, from school culture and behaviour to communication in pre-school settings.

In addition to programme work, you'll get the chance to refine our methodologies,develop research and thought leadership publications, represent the organisation externally and work with a brilliant, multidisciplinary UK team who are completely committed to transforming life chances through education.
