    Could you be our next Garage Equipment Engineer?

    Are you a Service Engineer, looking for good pay, a local patch and plenty of variety and support?

    If the answer is yes, then you could be our next Field Service Garage Equipment Engineer for one of the leading garage equipment specialists in the UK.

    40 Hours a week Salary £30,000 - £34,000 DOE

    Gott Technical Services Ltd, established over 40 years ago, is a family run business based in the North East of England that prides itself on first class customer satisfaction. We successfully service road transport and automotive customers in businesses such as commercial vehicle workshops, local authority workshops, bus company workshops, car dealerships, and MOT testing stations. We supply, install, maintain and calibrate a wide range of quality equipment including two and four post vehicle lifts, brake testers, headlamp aligners, exhaust gas and smoke analysers, wheel balancers, tyre changers, wheel aligners, lubrication equipment, air compressors, pressure washers and other miscellaneous equipment.     Who are we looking for?

    Ideally someone who has garage equipment engineering experience combined with the proven ability to deliver excellent quality of service to customers. A self-motivated individual who will put our customers first and demonstrates a can-do attitude towards solving customers' problems. However experience of repair, servicing and installation of other lifting, hydraulic and mechanical equipment will also be considered.

    The right candidate will possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills, if not more:

    • At least 2+ years of previous experience as a garage equipment engineer (preferred)
    • Technically minded with the ability to problem solve
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Using your passion for customer excellence to become experts in your field
    • A self-starter with a can-do attitude
    • Ability to meet deadlines
    • Confident in working to seek the right resolution for our customers
    • A strong team player
    • Efficiency in time management and completing relevant documentation
    • Able to control your own van stock
    • Flexible and willing to work overtime and occasional Saturday mornings as requested. Occasionally stay overnight away from home.
    • A full, clean UK driving licence
