    Description

    Martin-Baker is looking for skilled individuals to join our Systems Engineering team to work on a variety of different Crew Escapes systems, and their enabling subsystems, for a range of military aircraft around the world.

    We seek a number of systems engineers, from Graduate up to Senior Engineer level, to work across the entire system lifecycle.


    These are an exciting set of opportunities to work from the initial customer engagement stages of a project all the way through to the final delivery and ongoing support of the product.


    In summary you will play a significant role in the technical direction and strategy of our ongoing and future project and products.

    Ability to influence a range of Crew Escape system programmes whilst working with a variety of aircraft platforms and customers around the world


    • You will have the opportunity to grow and develop a broad skill base in a supportive, but technically challenging environment
    • The opportunity to work on a variety of projects at different points in their lifecycle.
    • Employ a model-based systems engineering approach to manage requirements, develop architectures and coordinate/trace verification activities
    • Collaborate with implementation and verification teams to ensure delivery of a fully compliant system
    • More senior roles will:
    • Provide technical guidance and Systems Engineering governance to a growing team and the wider business
    • Provide subject matter expertise to the team and assigned projects
    Degree qualified in Physics, Engineering or Maths


    • More senior roles will need:
    • Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes such as requirements elicitation, traceability, verification coverage, etc
    • Experience of engineering gate reviews and the associated assessment of design compliance
    • Proficiency in working across the systems engineering lifecycle
    • Enterprise Architect,) and languages (e.g. Martin-Baker is the world's leading expert in aerospace escape systems and related pilot safety equipment.
