Purchasing Assistant
Due to company expansion our client a hugely successful manufacturing company are looking to recruit a
Purchasing Assistant to join their team.
The Role
- Scheduling deliveries of parts in line with production plan
- Negotiating prices for parts and materials
- Monitor stock levels and replenish stock when required
- Generating new part codes for new parts
- Raising purchase orders
- Booking parts into and issuing parts out of stock
- Attend production meetings to provide update on parts and materials
- Ensure prices on invoices match prices agreed on purchase orders
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Comfortable in working both alone and as part of a team
- Confident with a positive cando attitude
- Good computer skills
