Purchasing Assistant


Due to company expansion our client a hugely successful manufacturing company are looking to recruit a
Purchasing Assistant to join their team.


The Role

  • Scheduling deliveries of parts in line with production plan
  • Negotiating prices for parts and materials
  • Monitor stock levels and replenish stock when required
  • Generating new part codes for new parts
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Booking parts into and issuing parts out of stock
  • Attend production meetings to provide update on parts and materials
  • Ensure prices on invoices match prices agreed on purchase orders

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Comfortable in working both alone and as part of a team
  • Confident with a positive cando attitude
  • Good computer skills
