Unisurge International Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of practitioner-specified procedure packs (CPT), dressing packs, medical disposable and theatre products to healthcare professionals.


Title:
Quality Control Goods-In Inspector


Reports to:
QA Manager


Based at:
Farboud Innovation Park, Newmarket


Key Responsibilities:


As a Quality Control Goods-In Inspector you will be working within the Quality Team to monitor incoming products from suppliers to a pre-determined sample plan, also ensuring part numbers and quantity matches delivery documentation.

You'll also provide support with keeping the product images up to date on the ERP system.

Monitoring and reporting regular KPI's on supplier rejects, internal rejects, quarantined products awaiting rework or scrapping off.


You may also be required to offer support to the RA and QA team for tasks related to third party regulatory audits.


Roles and Respoonsibilities

  • Manage the inspection and approval of incoming raw materials.
  • Manage the rejection and quarantine of supplier rejects, and process returns etc in conjunction with the purchasing department.
  • Maintain accurate incoming inspection records and report regular KPI's as required
  • Monitor and process customer returns for rework or scrapping off and report regular KPI's as required.
  • Photograph and maintain the product images on the ERP system.
  • Maintain good houskeeping.
  • Support in dealing with customer quality complaints via the company ticket system, and seeing them through to a satisfactory conclusion.

  • Computer literate, and competent in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook, and some knowledge of relational database systems.
  • Flexible and able to selfmanage multiple priorities.
  • Able to work effectively in multinational/multicultural environments.
  • A medical device background is desirable but not essential for this role.

Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
