MacGregor Recruitment are recruiting for a Trade Counter Warehouse Assistant on behalf of our client who are a supplier of upvc windows and doors to trade.

Due to sustained business growth they have now created an additional role for a Warehouse Person to join the trade counter team based in South Sheffield.


Trade Counter Warehouse Assistant role:


  • Reporting to the Branch Manager and as part of a team of 4 you will help receive, book in and store deliveries and ensure that the branch warehouse operates correctly
  • Pick and prepare customer orders and help load the branch van
  • Occasionally support with delivery driving a 3.5t van to customer sites
  • Help out in the trade counter and branch operations as required

Skills & Experience:


  • Previous experience within a trade counter type environment is highly desirable
  • Warehouse goods in/out experience is essential the role does involve some heavy lifting
  • Valid driving licence is essential, previous delivery driving van experience is an advantage
  • Good people skills able to get on well with trade customers
  • The ability or willingness to learn how to use the computer systems to look up customer details is required

The Package:


  • Basic £23k
  • PLUS branch binus scheme (up to £750 a month depending on branch performance to targets)
  • 28 days annual leave (including statutory days)
Monday to Friday hours - no Saturday working


Salary:
£23,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme
