    Description
    Folio is a specialist recruitment agency in London's interior design market. We provide employment consultancy for the leading practices, boutique studios to global groups.
    We have been retained to support the hiring of a Senior/Associate FF&E Designer.

    The main focus of this position is to lead the way FF&E schemes for prime residential and commercial projects throughout the UK.

    This role presents an exciting chance to progress your career, collaborating closely with clients and company owners to mentor the team and drive business growth.

    The successful candidate will take the lead in client interactions, cultivating strong relationships while supporting the directors in business development efforts as a respected industry figure.

    They will play a pivotal role in translating and refining client briefs to ensure clear communication across the company, demonstrating proficiency in presenting design concepts to clients.

    Moreover, the candidate will oversee a small team and be responsible for crafting detailed FF&E direction and specifications, including the procurement process, from purchase orders to deliveries.

    This presents an excellent chance to take on a leadership position at the management level, with ample opportunities for growth within the company.


    Skills & Experience:
    Eligibility to work in the UK is essentialDegree qualification in Interior Design or related field requiredDemonstrated track record in handling both residential and hospitality projectsPrevious experience in line management, supervising junior and intermediate designersExtensive network and familiarity with furniture suppliersIn-depth understanding of products, materials, and supplier landscapeStrong business acumen and commercial awarenessUnderstanding of financial aspects in project management, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgetsAbility to adapt to various styles to effectively address client briefsProficiency in interpreting technical drawings, including furniture shop drawingsProven experience in project management, including budgeting and schedulingExceptional written and verbal communication abilitiesSelf-motivated individual who excels in collaborative environments, upholds a positive outlook, and persistently seeks solutions to challenges as they ariseCompetency in Adobe CS and AutoCADFamiliarity with Estimac or similar software for FF&E schedulingTo learn more about this studio who is ready to interview and hire immediately, please apply via LinkedIn or send a PDF copy of your CV to with the subject line: Senior FF&E Designer
