    3rdLine/Senior Engineer (40-50K DOE) - SheffieldKeywords: 2nd Line, 3rd Line, Senior IT, IT Support, Support Analyst, Field Engineer, IT Technician, IT Engineer, Azure, AWS, VMware, Windows, Office 365, WAN, LAN, Firewalls, Routers, Powershell, Hyper-V, SwitchesI'm working alongside a rapidly growing IT Managed Solutions provider, looking to expand their team with a few new Support Engineers, varying from 1st Line up to the 3rd Line/Senior team. The IT team already consists of around people across multiple office locations in the UK. With the team size and various roles within the team, there is a real scope for progression through the ranks, especially with the rate the company is growing We are happy with welcoming a 2nd line with a few years' experience, looking to transition into a 3rd line role, while the same applies for a 3rd line transitioning into the Senior role.Please note the Senior IT Engineer will need to have a car and clean licence for travel (all petrol used for travel to client sites will be expensed).There is little difference between the 3rd Line and Senior Engineers; whereby the Seniors are more accountable, will be involved from start to finish with company projects, and have much more travel to client sites. As one of the 3rd line Support Engineers, you will act as the escalation point for the 1st and 2nd line teams, while working closely with the Senior Engineers to deliver the mentioned projects. All in all, it's a great chance to work with a variety of technologies daily, working individually but also collaborating with the wider team to deliver projectsGreat exposure to the Windows servers (12/16/19), Microsoft Office 365, Azure and AWS Cloud, networking experience (Firewalls, Switches Routers etc) and Virtualisation technologies (VMware/Hyper-V) will be an essential, with it being desirable for you to have some Powershell or other Scripting exposure.Some of the benefits include:
