    Description
    Provide comprehensive financial analysis and insights to support manufacturing operations, ensuring cost-effective production processes and resource allocation
    Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management accounts for manufacturing departments
    Collaborate closely with operational teams, analysing production costs, overhead expenses, and labor efficiencies to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
    Participate in the development and monitoring of manufacturing budgets and forecasts, providing guidance and support to operational managers and assisting in the control of expenditure
    Conduct detailed financial analysis of manufacturing performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements
    Assist in the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing activities, tracking and reporting on KPI performance against targets
    Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and accounting standards, working closely with internal audit and compliance teams
    Provide financial guidance to manufacturing leaders, assisting in strategic decision-making and helping drive initiatives to improve overall business performance
    Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements impacting manufacturing operations, incorporating relevant insights into financial planning and analysis

    Support the costing and pricing process, including the calculation of product costs, profitability analysis, and pricing recommendations for new and existing products
    Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and accounting standards, working closely with internal audit and compliance teams
    Provide financial guidance to manufacturing leaders, assisting in strategic decision-making and helping drive initiatives to improve overall business performance
    Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements impacting manufacturing operations, incorporating relevant insights into financial planning and analysis
    in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    Proven experience as a Management Accountant or Financial Analyst in a manufacturing environment
    Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and experience analyzing complex manufacturing cost structures
    Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
    Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial and ERP systems
    Recognised accounting qualification and experience.

    Excellent IT skills with SAP FICO experience desirable, but the ability to extract, manipulate, analyse and report data in Excel and Access essential.
