    Join our dynamic cardiology team We're on the lookout for a passionate Cardiology Nurse experienced in Cardiac Rehabilitation to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of patient care.

    Collaborating closely with the Cardiology Lead Nurse and the broader Cardiac Rehab team, you'll be the driving force behind the Cardiac Rehabilitation service at our St Helier site. Your mission: to establish optimal treatment and recovery pathways for cardiac patients, ensuring excellence across the entire care spectrum.

    Main duties of the job

    THIS POST WILL BE CROSS SITE

    As the chosen candidate, you'll take charge of enhancing current services, adapting to the ever-evolving healthcare landscape. Your professional leadership and management prowess will shine as you lead and support the cardiac rehabilitation team. Providing crucial clinical input, you'll guide patients referred to the service with a focus on achieving outstanding outcomes.

    Essential for success in this role is your background in nursing cardiac patients, coupled with a deep understanding of therapies and treatment modalities.   • First level registration
  • First level degree
  • Post registration qualification in Cardiology nursing
  • ENB 998 / C&G 7307 or equivalent
  • Desirable criteria

  • Counselling course
  • Masters degree in Cardiology
  • Independent and supplementary nurse prescriber
  • Experience

    Essential criteria

  • Extensive graduate nursing experience with experience at Band 6 or 7
  • In-depth knowledge and broad experience of working in Cardiology
  • Specific experience with Cardiac Rehabilitation
  • Experience of clinical audit
  • Desirable criteria

  • Teaching experience
  • Experience of clinical research
