Astrum Search are delighted to be working with an international telecommunications and technology business to recruit a Lead Internal Auditor based in their London office.

Reporting to the Senior Audit Manager, you will be part of a highly regarded and sociable team that has a fantastic reputation for delivering value to the organisation.

The function operates a risk-based approach and the audit plan is very varied, encompassing financial process reviews as well as more in-depth operational and project audits.

Lead and deliver audit assignments, participating in all stages of the audit from planning, executing, reporting and follow up

Understand and communicate the impact of audit findings to stakeholders, detailing root cause and associated risks
Help coach and mentor more junior auditors in the team
Contribute to the continuous development of the function (i.e. data analytics and automation).

A relevant accounting or internal audit qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CIA etc)

Prior internal or external audit experience gained in an international business or leading accountancy practice
Demonstrate a good understanding of risk and controls
Happy with flexible and remote working.

Travel in the role is low (approx 10%) and they operate a very flexible approach to work. The business adopts a flexible hybrid working approach. The team typically meet in the office 1 day per week (although there is no limit on this)
