Description
Hay are working in partnership with a manufacturing organisation based on the outskirts of Galashiels who, due to a period of growth, are looking to add some invaluable expertise to their already knowledgeable team.
This is a forward-thinking organisation within the industry who are planning to grow and will provide flexibility in working hours and work from home patterns.
Your new role is essential to both the technical perfromamce of the the finance team, but also the guidance and supervision.
You will work in collaboration with the UK Finance Director to help aid the direction of the business process and wider financial planning.
You will also aid in the day to day accounting and will have the responsibility of line managing 2 junior members of staff.
Prepare and present monthly management reporting to UK Finance and Operations Director and Group Finance Director, including analysis of budget versus actual resultsProduce consolidated management accounts for UK Finance and Operations Director
Prepare/monitor cash flows and ensure all transactions are within financial guidelines, also to ensure timely payments to suppliers and collection of receivables from customers
Prepare and present monthly management reporting to UK Finance and Operations Director and Group Finance Director, including analysis of budget versus actual results
Produce various monthly sales and gross margin reports for the UK Finance and Operations Director and Head of Sales
Produce consolidated management accounts for UK Finance and Operations Director
Assist with the preparation of monthly payroll and associated tasks
In order to succeed you will be a highly motivated, fully qualified or QBE finance professional who is eager to explore a new challenge.
