Debt Caseworker
Salary Level - £24,977.00 per annum

Duration - Fixed Term until 31st March 2025

Hours - 37 hours a week

Annual Leave

  • 20 days plus bank holidays
Location -
Great Yarmouth or Breckland, Norfolk location

We have a vacancy to provide an effective and efficient specialist debt service to our diverse clients, within the aims, policies and principles of Norfolk Citizens Advice.

The role entails ongoing casework aimed at achieving the most optimal financial outcomes for our clients.

If you can demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to show empathy and build rapport
  • Ability to deal with a variety of challenging situations
  • Experience of working with a wide variety of people
  • Proficiency in addressing various advice issues, particularly in welfare benefits (including Universal Credit), Debt, Housing and employment
  • A positive attitude and enjoy working in a team
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)

You don't need specific debt experience (although this would be an advantage), however we are looking for empathy and emotional resilience, with strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.

Full training will be given.

The closing date is end of business Wednesday
17th April 2024.
We reserve the right to close early should we need to.
