    Job Title: Clinical Specialist in Eating Disorders at Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide specialist clinical care to children and young people with various eating disorders
    • Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions
    • Act as Care Coordinator and manage caseload autonomously
    • Conduct risk assessment and management plans
    • Monitor effectiveness of prescribed medication
    • Enable effective joint working with other services
    • Participate in service development and engage with service users and families
    • Adhere to Trust Policies and maintain accurate records
    • Travel independently to provide support across different sites
    • Chair meetings and contribute to policy discussions
    • Provide training opportunities and support to staff and students
    • Contribute to the achievement of service targets
    • Participate in clinical governance and audit developments
    • Provide non-stigmatizing service to families and children
    • Develop staff and provide supervision

    Person Specification

    Qualifications

    Essential

    • Degree in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent
    • Registered Nurse
    • Evidence of continued professional development

    Desirable

    • Training in specific psychological therapies

    Experience

    Essential

    • Experience working as a Band 6 or equivalent
    • Experience in a community mental health setting
    • Proven good working relationships and multi-disciplinary team experience
    • Partnership working experience

    Desirable

    • Experience working with eating disorder presentations
    • Skills

      Essential

      • Knowledge of mental health-related policy and legislation
      • Service user and carer-focused care delivery
      • Basic keyboard and active listening skills
      • Ability to prioritize workload
      • Commitment to professional development
