    Jackson & Lyon LLP is a specialist law firm founded by lawyers with many years of experience, focusing primarily on litigation, commercial and immigration law.

    A major focus of our business involves acting for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, SMEs, entrepreneurs, investors and commercial clients, based in the UK and internationally.

    Our firm has developed a strong reputation working for East Asian investors and across international jurisdictions.

    We have worked on several high-profile litigation matters and are currently working on a test case in the Supreme Court.

    The role

    A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Solicitor to join our close-knitted team on a permanent and full-time basis in Mayfair, London.

    You will report to the Partners of the firm and be working on a range of complex commercial and civil litigation matters ranging from commercial disputes, professional negligence, fraud claims, company disputes, landlord / tenant disputes to complex immigration appeals and public law / judicial review matters.

    You will have the opportunity to join an ambitious team and be exposed to interesting and complex work.

    You will report into the Partners of the law firm and work with close, tight-knit team of trainees and paralegals.

    Requirements for the role
    Qualified solicitor in England & Wales
    Commercially focused
    Strong teamwork ethos
    Ability to work on own initiative
    Ability to lead and manage paralegals / trainees
    Committed to delivering consistent, high quality client service
    IT literate
    Knowledge of Leap software (but not essential)
    Language skills – Chinese Mandarin and / or Cantonese (but not essential)
    Salary is market rate and negotiable depending on your level of PQE / experience
    The firm will sponsor you on a Skilled Worker visa, if applicable and suitable
