- Take responsibility for the basic care of children – assisting and ensuring good personal care, health care, education and recreational activities
- Proactively support the young person's care plan
- Utilise company's pool cars in order to transport/support young people to and from school, health appointments etc. Please note that all pool cars are manual
- Ensure a regular log and record of events is maintained including night observation/medication checklist
- Prepare and write reports in accordance with the child's needs and organisational requirements
- Ensure professional standards in line with individual and team performance plans
- Genuine commitment to welfare of resident children
- Previous experience of working with children and young people is desirable
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent is a must for Senior roles
- Flexibility to work long shifts and sleep ins
- Full UK driving license
- Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
