    The Role

    The Project Manager is responsible for leading digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. This role is being offered at £25k - £30k, dependant on experience & requires excellent communication and organisation skills, as the Project Manager acts as the liaison between the project team, clients, and stakeholders. The Project Manager must possess a strong foundation in project management methodologies, be adept at risk management, and have the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

    Responsibilities

    Within this role, some of the key areas you will be responsible for are:

    • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans that outline scope, timeframes, budget, and resources. Establish project objectives in alignment with business goals.
    • Team Coordination: Direct and coordinate internal teams and external parties for the successful execution of projects. Ensure resource availability and allocation.
    • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for project updates. Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
    • Budget Management: Monitor and control project costs to keep the project within the allocated budget. Report and escalate to management as needed.
    • Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project success and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Implement problem-solving as issues arise.
    • Quality Control: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Conduct regular project reviews and implement quality assurance practices.
    • Reporting and Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, change requests, and project evaluations.
    • Process Improvement: Analyse project outcomes and identify areas for improvement in project execution and delivery. Implement best practices and lessons learned into future projects.
    • Client Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through excellent service delivery, prompt issue resolution, and proactive engagement.

    Knowledge & Experience

    To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

    Essential

    This role is suited for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a track record of delivering digital projects within scope, time, and budget constraints. A strong background in digital project management and familiarity with project management software and tools is essential.

    • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey project goals, updates, and expectations to team members, stakeholders, and clients.

    • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they impact project timelines or outcomes.
    • Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements, client needs, and technological advancements, maintaining flexibility and resilience.
    • Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying potential risks and developing effective mitigation strategies to ensure project stability and success.
    • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail in planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities to ensure high-quality outcomes.

    Desirable

    • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with digital technologies and platforms relevant to the our projects, such as web development, digital marketing tools, or software development methodologies.
    • Innovative Thinking: Creativity and the ability to think outside the box in proposing solutions and improvements to project processes and outcomes.
    • Customer Service Orientation: A strong focus on client satisfaction, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and ensure their needs are met.
    • Negotiation Skills: Competence in negotiating with stakeholders, vendors, and team members to achieve project goals and resolve conflicts.
    • Time Management: Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines under pressure.
    • Emotional Intelligence: High emotional intelligence (EQ) to manage stress, understand team dynamics, and communicate empathetically with team members and stakeholders.
