Are you an experienced Senior Medical Writer looking for a flexible and rewarding new opportunity? Do you have a passion for creating high-quality deliverables across multiple therapeutic areas? If so, we have the perfect role for you

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Writer to join an independent full service agency we are partnered with on a remote basis in the UK.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a wide range of medical communication documents such as manuscripts,abstracts, posters, and slide decks.

You will work closely with other members of the team and clients to ensure that all documents meet the clients brief within the agreed time frame and to budget.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in medical writing with experience of mentoring associate writers helping to strengthen the team.

You will be able to interact professionally with clients and lead briefing calls as requireddemonstrating your ability to hold a senior position within the team.

A degree in a Life Sciences related field (such as science or medicine) is a must along with pre-existing experience working in a medical writing position.

Excellent communication and organisationalskills are also essential.


Requirements:

Experience of working as a Medical writer is essential for this Senior position
Full working knowledge of ABPI code of practice is desirable
Excellent scientific and medical writing skills, with an ability to analyse data and ensure that all information is accurate
Ability to lead briefing calls and comment resolution meetings
Able to lead cross-functional communication to optimise feedback in order to produce high quality documents

Experience of coaching and mentoring junior writers, helping them to gain more experience, as well as identifying their training needs.


Minimum degree requirement:
Bachelor's within a relevant Life Science area although MSc or PhD is preferred.
