    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Accountant focused on FP&A to join a company based in Stoke

    The main role consists of carefully preparing management accounts and providing valuable insights for review by the senior management team. This is an opportunity to immediately make a positive impact and drive enhancements.




    Competitive Salary up to £50k

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Preparation of Management and Statutory Accounts:
    - Compile management accounts and document all financial transactions.
    - Gather data from various internal and external sources.
    - Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on actuals vs. budget.
    - Support in the audit process and annual audit readiness.
    - Handle balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
    - Analyze Financial Reports and contribute to annual budget planning.
    - Produce reports on financial expenditure vs. forecasts.
    - Share reports with senior staff and managers along with relevant commentary.
    - Aid in crafting commentaries for board reports.


    Qualifications and Skills:
    Ideally possess a degree in Accounting or Finance, but not mandatory.
    ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification is preferred.
    Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
    Attentive to details and dedicated to precision.
