- We are looking for someone to:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee sewer rehabilitation projects involving patching and lining.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
- Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and clients to facilitate project execution.
- Lead a team of technicians and workers in performing patching and lining activities.
- Provide training and guidance on safe and effective repair techniques.
- Monitor team performance and conduct regular evaluations.
- Inspect and assess the condition of sewer systems to determine appropriate repair methods.
- Utilise trenchless technology, such as cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, for efficient repairs.
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations regarding wastewater management and sewer rehabilitation, including Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of all projects, including work completed, materials used, and safety checks.
- Address any defects or issues promptly to maintain the integrity of the sewer system.
- Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance repair techniques and outcomes.
- Liaise with engineers, project managers, and clients to provide updates on project progress.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, challenges, and resolutions.
- Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally and effectively.
- Experience in wastewater management or sewer rehabilitation, with some of this time spent in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of sewer repair techniques, including patching and trenchless lining methods
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in using relevant tools and technology
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- GCSEs or equivalent; technical certification or an NVQ in a related field preferred.

Patching and Lining Supervisor (Wastewater/Sewer Rehabilitation)
Our Role
As the Patching and Lining Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the repair and rehabilitation of wastewater and sewer systems using patching and lining techniques. This role ensures that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the UK.
May require working outside regular business hours, including nights and weekends, to address emergencies.
