Description
A key member of a dedicated, experienced, and forward-thinking fleet team you will be working with drivers and staff across various departments and in various vehicles within the Council.
Ensure a compliant standard and programme of driver training, in line with internal and external requirements, including providing classroom and practical training to drivers and operational staff.
Delivery of driver assessments to new and existing driver across all departments and licence categories, including specialist vehicles such as waste collection vehicles.
Maintenance of driver training & assessment records for all staff and departments.Advise and assist in the development and of fleet related safe working practices, risk assessments and general fleet related health & safety.
We are looking for an engaging, collaborative, customer focused individual with excellent communication skills to join our fleet team.
You must hold a driver assessor qualification and a valid HGV Class 2 licence.An engaging person with the ability to deliver classroom and practical training and capability of adapting their training style to the audience to maximise engagement and learning.
