    Senior Structural Engineer
    Construction Industry

    About the Role:

    JMS Midlands is a part of the JMS Group of companies that employ 45+ staff undertaking civil & structural engineering designs and has been serving the Construction Industry for over 25 years.

    We have an opening for a Senior Structural Engineer in the Midlands region. Where, as a critical part of our team, you will lead an Engineering cost centre(s).

    With project costs up to £12m and the use of the latest design software, the role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in impactful, high-value projects.

    A competitive salary up to £60k will be offered, commensurate with the importance of this role within our company.

    JMS Group is part of the Structural Engineering Alliance Group (SEAG), a collective of esteemed engineering firms, each distinguished in its respective field, united by a shared vision of pioneering progress.

    Lead an Engineering cost centre(s) for our Midland Region.
    # Use latest design software to create and manage structural designs.
    # Ensure projects are appropriately resourced, delegating work to team members, programming deliverables, and monitoring progress.
    # Provide support and guidance to junior staff, fostering their development and progression.
    # Implement Company policies and ensure adherence across your team.
    # Monitor and oversee project budgets and staff resources for projects undertaken.
    # Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Masters degree preferred).
    Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
    Proven track record of cost estimation and project management.
    Competitive salary up to £60k
