- :Land Safety Consultant with UK Defence Expertise This company is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Land Safety Consultant to join their growing team on a permanent, hybrid (office-based and remote) work basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert safety consultancy services to clients in the UK Defence industry
  • Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments for land systems and equipment in their area of expertise
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety management systems (SMS)
  • Support clients in achieving safety certification and accreditation
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver successful safety outcomes
  • Stay uptodate on the latest land safety standards and best practices in their specialisation

Requirements:


  • Experience as a Land Safety Consultant within the UK Defence sector, ideally with a focus on Vehicles, Radar, or OME
  • Proven ability to identify and assess hazards in complex land systems and equipment in their area of expertise
  • Strong understanding of relevant UK Defence safety regulations and standards, including Def Stan 0055, JSP 310, and Mil Std 810
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Selfmotivated and resultsoriented, with a proactive approach to safety
