    Description

    We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as a Senior Tax Manager at a leading company in the market, EY.

    We are seeking a proactive individual to work within our busy private client team. Our US/UK Cross Border team serves a diverse range of international high net worth individuals, family offices, private equity and hedge fund principals, and professional partnerships.

    Here are the key details about the role:

    • Senior Tax Managers manage a varied portfolio of clients with complex US and/or UK tax affairs
    • Responsibilities include overseeing compliance, advisory services, and team management
    • Opportunities for career advancement to Director level and beyond

    Duties

    • Manage a client list ensuring high-quality service delivery
    • Lead in billing processes and ensure deadlines are met
    • Review and sign off completed tax returns
    • Develop team members and provide guidance
    • Ensure compliance work meets expected standards and client service level is exceptional

    Person Specification

    The ideal candidate will be a qualified member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and qualified to practice US tax as an Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA. CTA qualification is desirable but not mandatory.

    At least 5 years of experience working in practice

    Proven Experience

    Demonstrated experience in tax operations and client service

    Proficiency in managing client tax requirements, bills, and US/UK tax returns

    Experience in supervising junior staff

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

    Proficient in financial data interpretation and IT skills

    Ability to build strong working relationships

    Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
