RMS Recruitment are working with an industry leading automotive logistics company; we are looking for a Senior Supervisor to Join our Existing Team.
Our client is well known for providing vehicle storage, Inspection, Maintenance, dispatch and transportation facilities.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Contract General Manger, the Senior supervisor's responsibility involves managing any of the Automotive compounds on a long and / or short-term basis as the business dictates.
- Key Responsibilities:_
- Ensuring all vehicles handled & inspected meet the Quality Standards
- Ensure strict discipline is applied to all areas, with focus on Inspection and Damage Prevention
- Use Forecasts to establish headcount needs against planned volumes. Ensure full control of the operation, with continued communication with internal and external bodies.
- Take Full responsibility for all aspects of quality including measuring, monitoring, training, documenting processes, seeking best practice & taking action to prevent risks to operations
- Ensure clients requirement are achieved. Keep accurate measure of all operational disciplines & produce KPI's accordingly
- Promote safe and competent workforce Carry out investigations for any accidents & incidents & keep accurate records.
- Control and reduce costs through continuous improvement, reengineering, increased productivity, and other methods.
About You?
- The applicant must hold a Full Driving License with less than 6 penalty points and no DR10 Offences
- The applicant must have experience with Automotive/manufacturing Industry
- The applicant must have experience within and Automotive/logistics Management Position
- The applicant must be able to lead the team through provision of excellent customer service, with a "can do" approach, develop good customer relations and be able to motivate a team.

£35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

- Solihull: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Automotive/Logistics: 2 years (preferred)

- Driving Licence (required)
