Sports Travel Transport Coordinator - Inspiresport

Remote role with option to work from our Manchester office.

Due to an exciting time of growth we are now looking for a
Transport Coordinator
to join our team based in Manchester.**This role will work closely with our Tour Coordinators, and take ownership of the transport aspect of our sports tours.

Exceeding our client's expectations you will encourage them to become Inspiresport repeat customers. This is to be done in line with our Brand Pillars and Inspiresport Core Values.


As our Transport Coordinator no two days are the same, but on a typical day you will

  • Take ownership of all transport requirements for our sports tours, mainly focusing on Coaches, flights and ferries for our UK and European tours.
  • Coordinate and take ownership for all costs relating to transport bookings, ensuring everything is in line with the tour budget
  • Work closely with our Tour Coordinators, to fully understand the transport requirements for each tour and the required deadlines.
  • Have full visibility of the years tour schedule and plan your workload effectively
  • Complete general administrative tasks as required
  • Take ownership of any task that is given and follow up with the most appropriate person in order to achieve task completion
  • Use our in house systems and take personal responsibility for being knowledgeable on all of our products
  • Show flexibility in multitasking in different areas as required by other team members
  • Form strong relationships with suppliers, party leads & stakeholders

To be successful in this role you will have

  • Confidence in planning transport for tours such as coaches & ferries
  • An awareness of costs savings and budgets
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask when required
  • Strong administration skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to offer exceptional levels of customer service, and the ability to build strong relationships with the team and our clients
  • Intermediate IT skills: especially with Microsoft packages (Excel, Word) Knowledge of transport management systems and or tracking systems would be a distinct advantage but isn't essential
  • Ability to keep calm in an oftendemanding role
