    Description
    We are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer in Central London. This is a Day shift position, operating 4 on 4 off 7am-7pm. On offer are salaries circa £48,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience.

    Role Overview:
    As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our commercial contract in London.

    Your responsibilities will include planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, along with general facilities management duties.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Conduct routine PPM on electrical/mechanical equipment according to schedules and asset lists.
    Address reactive tasks promptly, while actively seeking areas for improvement.
    Swiftly remedy plant faults and defects to maintain operational status.
    Maintain inventory of spares for maintenance and reactive works, providing estimated timescales for remedial actions.
    Keep systems (e.g., eLogbook's) up to date, ensuring accurate data capture for PPM and reactive tickets.
    Complete all relevant paperwork for reactive and breakdown works promptly, forwarding it to the contract administrator without delay.
    Develop strong working relationships with Smart staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
    Supervise subcontractors' works on-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety practices.
    Perform tasks with proper H&S awareness and implementation.
    Adhere to contractual KPIs/SLAs and ensure a safe working environment, including wearing appropriate uniform and PPE.


    Candidate Requirements:


    Must hold recognized industry qualifications in Electrical (BS7671 18th Edition), Electrical (C&G2391 Inspection and Testing)Apply today to join our team and be part of our dynamic environment.
