- Maintain the procedures, processes, and records to support maintenance activities including but not limited to specifying and scheduling activities within CMMS systems.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and protocols for construction, procurement, Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality
- Planning and recording all long-term quality records for the Office of Nuclear Regulations (ONR) requirements
- Ensure that all plant and equipment delivered to the Warehouse Facilities is maintained as per the supplier requirements.
- Ensure maintenance arrangements support compliance with regulatory, company policies and industry best practice.
- Represent Wincanton at internal and external committees, working groups, forums, and meetings
- Schedule and assist asset reviews, report on performance, and monitor action close out and improvement status.
- Promote the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency for maintenance on all equipment in the warehouse facilities.
- Establish, manage and execute Care and Maintenance activities through CMMS systems.
- Provide governance of maintenance activities to ensure they are conducted to the required standards and expectations.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying and reporting events, areas for improvement and good practices to enhance performance.
- Integrate and build relationships with NNB, Equipment Suppliers, Installation contractors, construction delivery teams and other key stakeholders on the project.
- Manage resource as team grows - Safely Setting to work, training and development.
- Post apprenticeship experience delivering maintenance within Electrical/Mechanical discipline.
- City and Guilds or NVQ Level 5 qualified in a Mechanical discipline
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with industry best practices for maintenance
- Line Manager experience
- Knowledge of maintenance practices applied in large engineering organisations across engineering disciplines.
- Understanding and practical experience of specifying work packages including risk assessments and method statements.
- Knowledge of engineering regulations and standards
- Broad understanding of logistic would be advantageous.

The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Technical Manager to join Wincanton. Based at Avonmouth, Bristol you will be part of a collaborative team, planning and executing maintenance on equipment that will be required to build Hinkley Point C Power Station. The role will primarily be focused on maintaining equipment in NNB warehouse facilities, this may well extend to performing maintenance activities on plant and equipment on site which has been handed over from installation contractors. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering maintenance to required standards set by the equipment suppliers and NNB HPC.

We are seeking experienced technically competent personnel who is willing to contribute their knowledge and skills to ensure all equipment receives high quality maintenance in readiness for installation on site. Also, to support the development of the team whilst growing their own technical knowledge and experience in one of the nation's key infrastructure projects.
