    Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP) is building a new Mental Health Inpatient Service in Chertsey, Surrey.

    Silverwood will contain four adult inpatient wards and is due to open in Autumn 2024 . Our ambition is to transform inpatient mental healthcare for our local population.

    The new unit will provide 64 beds all with single ensuite bedrooms, two lounges and a dedicated garden for each ward, as well as a woodland area for supervised walks.

    For our colleagues working here, there will be access to kitchenettes, a lounge, and a dedicated garden. There will also be an education suite with state-of-the-art digital equipment.

    This role is a fantastic and exciting opportunity to be part of a new service providing excellent care to our patients within a state-of-the-art facility. You will work with experienced, knowledgeable, dedicated colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary team. We are developing new ways of working and want you to be part of the team who will provide effective assessment, treatment, and high-quality care to our patients.

    Main duties of the job

  • Support the MDT with the development of the clinical pathway of person-centred quality care plans which evidence assessment, formulation, and treatment plans designed to support recovery.
  • Ensure that the service meets the requirements of the CQC.
  • Improve and facilitate engagement of patients with specialist services to include people with ASD, and substance misuse.
  • Improve the quality of care provided to patients by increasing the knowledge and skills of staff
