- Implement advanced immunological and pharmacological assays to characterize and assess antibody potential.
- Lead antibody discovery initiatives through target identification and antibody generation.
- Provide leadership and assistance to a multidisciplinary laboratory team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to progress projects from target validation through to clinical development.
- Innovate and apply cutting-edge methodologies and technologies to enhance the drug discovery and development process. Leading and contributing to the development of novel therapeutic antibodies and biologics targeting critical disease pathways.
- Present project progress and results to stakeholders and collaborators, and contribute to the scientific community through publications and presentations.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and advancements and foster a culture of scientific excellence and innovation.
- A MSc/PhD in a relevant field such as Molecular Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology, or Animal Health, plus significant industrial work experience.
- Proficiency in cellular and molecular biology techniques, including in-vitro pharmacology drug design, optimization, validation, and development.
- Extensive experience of SPR, FACS, Cell-Based Assays, Nanodrop Spectrophotometers, Cell Culture and Protein Identification methods.
- Proficiency in statistical methods, data analysis software and bioinformatic tools for interpreting complex data sets.
- Experience in Project Leadership and Line Management with a track record of fostering collaborative research and cross-disciplinary communication.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, utilizing critical thinking and analytical skills to ensure smooth management and delivery of research projects.
- Prior experience collaborating with colleagues and teams across functions including discovery, early development, clinical and manufacturing.
- Exceptional organization and communication abilities, comfortable engaging with all organizational levels and representing the company to external stakeholders.
