    Audit & Accounts Manager
    Are you an Ambitious Accounts & Audit Assistant Manager or established Manager based in Hertfordshire looking for a new challenge at Manager level without having to commute into London?
    Specialist Accountancy Practice recruitment consultancy, Clark Wood, are delighted to be working with this leading regional firm of chartered accountants as they are looking to add an Accounts & Audit Manager to their already successful team in St Albans

    Based within walking distance of the train station, this highly reputable firm have an excellent presence across the region and, as a result of sustained growth and success, they are now keen to add a personable and professional Accounts & Audit Manager who can help to enhance their excellent reputation through the delivery of the highest level of client service to some of the firm's premier clients.

    You will be responsible for managing the audit process from planning through to completion, ensuring the deployment of appropriate staff levels for each assignment.

    You will be responsible for reviewing year-end accounts prepared by members of your team, ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards before they go out to your clients.

    Aside from the client management responsibilities the successful person will also contribute to the day to day management and training of staff.

    This will include being involved with staff reviews throughout the year to ensure continuous development for individual team members.

    The ideal individual for the role will be ACA / ACCA qualified with a minimum couple of years post qualification experience, and will have a wealth of audit experience from an established practice background with previous staff management experience.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful person to join a highly reputable and leading firm where there is genuine scope for an ambitious and driven individual to progress into senior management/director material.
