Are you an Accounting Manager with SAP experience?


Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting a growing education company as they look to recruit a permanent Accounting Manager based near Liverpool street.

Accounting Manager/ Permanent/ Full time - Hybrid working/ Liverpool street / up to £48k + fantastic benefits.


The purpose of the role is to manage all of the Accounting related responsibilities and support the Financial Controller with Reporting, budgeting, reconciliation's, month closing, whilst supervising the Accounts Payable.


Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Post bank transactions on a daily basis.
  • Regularly run reports on SAP.
  • Manage inter company transfers.
  • Regularly check bank accounts, running reports using Vlookups.
  • To be responsible for the monthly bank reconciliation's.
  • Issue weekly cash reports, sharing with HQ.
  • To be responsible for the line management of the Accounts Payable and ensure that the related activities are processed correctly and in a timely manner.

We are looking for:

  • SAP Experience
  • ESSENTIAL
  • Experience gained with a similar role, managing all aspects of accounting.
  • Ideally ACCA or CIMA qualified. Desirable not essential.
  • Knowledge of UK taxation and VAT.
  • Ideally experience gained within the education sector but not essential.
  • Very strong with Excel.
  • Stakeholder management experience.
