    Description

    About the Job:

    We are seeking a Solicitor or FCILEx to join our Employment team in either Leeds or Bristol office. The role involves handling legal expense insurer files and providing occasional non-contentious support. Experience in employment law is vital for this challenging yet rewarding position that emphasizes teamwork and collaboration.

    Hybrid Working:

    This role offers a mix of office and remote work, split between the Bristol or Leeds office and home. You will need a suitable home setup and will be supplied with a company laptop.

    Working Hours:

    7 hours a day, 35 hours a week within core hours of 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Providing advice on Employment Tribunal claims;
    • Managing Employment Tribunal cases from start to finish, including document drafting and settlement negotiations;
    • Ensuring compliance with service level agreements;
    • Assisting with non-litigious employment matters and offering advice to clients;
    • Contributing to marketing efforts, such as creating legal updates and conducting client training;
    • Offering accurate and timely advice;
    • Utilizing the case management system for file progression;
    • Handling billing and invoicing processes.

    Skills/Competencies Required:

    Essential:

    • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FCILEx;
    • Passionate about employment law and providing practical solutions;
    • Strong attention to detail;
    • Effective communication and time management;
    • Capability to manage cases and strategies independently;
    • Team player with excellent prioritization skills;
    • Experience with Employment Law at a significant level.
