    Circa £55k - £60k, salary dependent on skills & experience

    Full time/37 hrs a week/permanent

    Location: Thorpe Wood House, Peterborough with travel across the Anglian Water region.

    The Contracts Manager oversees the efficient management and safe delivery of a substantial maintenance and engineering portfolio focusing on Water and Water Recycling assets.

    This role involves managing a team responsible for various types of maintenance work on critical water and sewage assets, ensuring performance levels are met. Additionally, providing expert advice on contract specifications and negotiations within the business.

    Responsibilities include leading the delivery of Water Recycling Screens and Screens Handling areas, ensuring compliance with standards, performance metrics, and budget management. Upholding operational and maintenance policies to mitigate risks and deliver best value.

    Key Requirements for Success:

    • Relevant Degree or equivalent experience
    • Operational background in water industry maintenance or engineering
    • Strong commercial and contract management skills
    • Budget and financial management experience
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills
    • Effective interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
    • Strong prioritisation, negotiation, and decision-making skills
    • Leadership experience in a similar role
    • Profound knowledge of H&S legislation
    • Understanding of KPMs and KPIs
    • IOSH or similar qualification
