    Court of Protection Solicitor / Associate Leading, Legal 500 Court of Protection DepartmentThe FirmFounded over 50 years ago, our client is viewed as a multi-specialist leading law firm based in London but with a national reputation.

    The firm boasts a very strong Court of Protection Department that is highly ranked in the legal directories; with partners recognised as 'Leading Individuals'.The OpportunityOur client is seeking a dedicated Court of Protection Solicitor to join their market-leading department, specialising in providing Court of Protection Deputyship support for clients who experience complex mental capacity issues.

    The caseload will include the management of property and financial affairs for vulnerable clients including those who have suffered brain and spinal injury.


    The responsibility of this role involves:

    The purchase of properties and adapting them for the needs of the firm's disabled clientsCreating and monitoring clients' budgets to ensure fund sustainabilityLiaising with case managers, doctors, therapists, care teams, surveyors, architects and other specialistsAttend clients at hospitals, in their home and care/nursing homesMake regular payments to clients and keep accurate schedules of these paymentsDelegate and supervise tasks where appropriate to paralegals and traineesWork as a part of a team under the supervision of a Partner of the firmBenefitsThe firm offer a comprehensive benefits package, to include:Private healthcareLife insuranceIncome protectionAnnual staff bonusContribution to gym membership25 days annual leave, increasing with length of serviceHybrid workingRequired ExperienceCourt of Protection Solicitor with NQ-3 years' PQEMust have experience of handling Court of Protection casesAble to work to tight deadlines and in a high paced environmentOrganised and able to prioritiseExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work with numbersIf you're interested in applying for this Court of Protection Solicitor vacancy, please get in touch with a member of our team.
